EmerGeo Wins 2012 Motorola Award for Public Safety Technology

On May 30, 2012, SIS EmerGeo Solutions Inc.’s President, Mike Morrow, accepted a prestigiuos technology award at the CATAAlliance 27th Annual Innovation Awards Gala held in Ottawa on May 30, 2012. 

The award is presented annually to a Canadian organization for “… an outstanding technology engineering development which has resulted in the production of a world-class Public Safety product or family of products. The product has to have proven itself in operation and its design and market success will have enhanced Canada’s international reputation for innovation and excellence.”

Mr. Morrow accepted the award on behalf of his dedicated development and support team in Vancouver.  “Innovation means change.  Change can only be inplemented successfully through leadership and trust.  Our aim is always earning our customers’ and partners’ trust in our products and in the people that build and support them.  One of the key success factors in making positive change has been immersing our technical staff in Emergency Operation Centres – working alongside our customers and using the products we sell to them.  There is no better way to understand our customers’ challenges and how our product can be enhanced to help them.  Our team is passionate about making a difference in the global public safety market and so I dedicate this award to each and everyone of them”, Morrow stated in his acceptance speech.
