EmerGeo Events  GIS Day - Abu Dhabi: Nov. 19 2008 ADSIC (Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Committee) will host the first Emirate-wide GIS Day event in Abu Dhabi, to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. It promises to be an extraordinary venue. The event will showcase the work being carried out by over 17 organizations that are leading the way in GIS development in Abu Dhabi, and will highlight the important role of the Abu Dhabi Spatial Data Infrastructure (AD-SDI) initiative in helping to facilitate, coordinate, support and promote cross-agency coordination and sharing of information.
