EmerGeo has been designed to support field operations. The Smart Client application gives field staff full drawing, analysis, GPS tracking, modeling, file (photo) linking/upoading and communications capabilities. The software can run completely independently, without a network connection. When a wireless connection is found, whether satellite or cellular, EmerGeo gives field users an option to synchronize updates to and/or from the EmerGeo server.

EmerGeo runs on laptops, tablets and other mobile devices for field use. EmerGeo Smart Client's Global Positioning System (GPS) feature enables field staff to locate their current position on a map and provides realtime tracking of their position for others to see. New developments on handheld devices is also underway and we invite organizations interested in piloting new handheld mapping applications to contact us.
