Professional Services | Incident Command System Training (ICS)

It just makes sense to tap into our expertise.
Our team has extensive experience in emergency response and emergency management. We’ve been involved at senior levels in hundreds of emergencies, including the Queen of the North ferry sinking (2006), the BC Fire Storm (2003), and the world’s largest oil spill during the Gulf War (1991). In addition, our team consists of former industrial (14 years gas plant operations) and government (all levels) Emergency Managers.

Trainers Who Respond
Our trainers are also practitioners. That's why we are able to provide a unique perspective throughout our courses based on how emergencies actually unfold and how best to deal with them. Our trainers have been involved in key response positions such as Incident Commander, Operations Section Chief, Planning Section Chief, and Emergency Operations Centre Director.

Approved Trainers
Our trainers are approved nationally by the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC) and by Alberta Emergency Management Agency as well as the Inter-agency Emergency Preparedness Council of British Columbia (IEPC). Our curriculum is based on Canadian and US national standards. Dean Monterey is the author of the national Incident Command System (ICS) curriculums for CIFFC and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP).

Online ICS Courses

We also offer online ICS courses so your team of Emergency Managers and Responders can update their training on their schedule. Our online ICS courses can be taken any time from anywhere with an internet connection. I-100 is available completely online, I-200 and 300 are also offered in a blended approach of online and classroom. I400, 401, 402 and the Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System (AIIMS) are currently in development.
