Since its inception in 2002, EmerGeo has attracted some of world’s foremost practice leaders in Emergency Management. This experience combined with EmerGeo’s world-class technology lays the foundation for the delivery of our solutions in a truly effective, value-driven manner.
At the core of EmerGeo’s solution based approach is a suite of software tools that facilitate communication and critical data exchange and tracking during emergencies. These applications are currently in use by many Emergency Operation Centres (EOC’s) around the globe and have been proven effective in managing both small and large scale disasters and security during major sporting events.
Our software applications provide public safety and security personnel with timely access to critical information and decision-support tools before, during and after emergencies and major events.
A unique feature of EmerGeo technology is its data fusion engine, spatial workflow tools and a user-configurable web dashboard portal. Fusionpoint is designed from the ground up to address the multi-agency communication and coordination (interoperability) problems documented during disasters such as the attack on the World Trade Center and Hurricane Katrina along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Fusionpoint is not only used to create and map information on incidents, resources, facilities, etc. It also enables external data stored in siloed systems to be ‘fused’ and then shared securely within and among response agencies so that all decision-makers are working with the most up-to-date, relevant and validated information available. An automated alerting capability provides early warning when threats are detected within the vicinity of critical infrastructure. Data feeds from external systems can be consumed in real-time, including leading crisis management and security camera systems, 911 dispatch systems and geographic information systems (mapping) such as ESRI ArcGIS®.
To produce outstanding financial returns for our shareholders by providing reliable, world-class, open standards based technology solutions and services that will prove effective in helping government and industry to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to and recover from potential or actual incidents, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other risks.
