EmerGeo FusionPoint is a simple web-based Crisis Information Management System (CIMS). It combines simple logging and reporting, real-time data fusion, OpenGIS and ESRI mapping and web portal technology to bring together data and process from multiple emergency and non-emergency applications. Authorized users can drag-and-drop windows (portlets) in their web dashboard to display the appropriate level of information and the get to the right tools to do their job.
EmerGeo Fusionpoint delivers a single unified view, or Common Operating Picture (COP), of critical data to those who need it – regardless of what information systems they have invested in. Helping responders protect people, property and the environment is the goal.

It uses web services to connect to customer’s existing systems to consume and publish data. Each authorized user can configure their web ‘dashboard’ to view relevant information and get quick access to tools they need to do their job. A simple communication log, event display, resource management and other ‘portlets’ (modules) are added to each dashboard, as required. Fusionpoint is designed from the ground up to support multi-system and multi-agency interoperability.
